Thomas 'Breeze' Marcus, better known as Breeze, is a locally and nationally renowned artist who creates primarily as a 2d painter creating both fine art pieces on canvas, as well as large scale mural and community art projects both locally and nationally.  Breeze’s artwork has been exhibited in local institutions such as the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, the Heard Museum, the Arizona Historical Society and many more. 

 

Breeze is currently branching into 3D sculpture works with his signature line work style. He is also currently working on a piece for Valley Metro and the South Phoenix Light Rail extension, as well as projects for ASU Hayden Library, the Mesa Arts Center and True North Development group on Roosevelt Row. 

 

Aside from being a full-time accomplished artist for over a decade, Breeze has also been working with local youth on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Community doing community Mural projects for nearly the same amount of time. Breeze is passionate about hands-on community mural projects where young people participate in the creative vision, get hands on experience preparing and working along with the artists and other supportive adults to collaborate in creating the healthy, safe and just communities we strive for.
